Dr. Fink has been a practicing clinical psychiatrist for 35 years. He is board certified in General Psychiatry (1989) and Forensic Psychiatry (1999). He received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in 1985 and completed his Residency training in psychiatry at the Institute of Pennsylvania Hospital in 1989. He has specialized in the treatment of dissociative and trauma disorders and was associate director of the trauma disorders unit at the Pennsylvania Hospital from 1989 until 1996. In his forensic practice he has consulted on a wide range of civil and criminal matters. On the civil side cases have included assessments for psychological trauma, personal injury, IIED, work-place issues, professional boundary violations and medical malpractice. In the criminal domain he has been consulted for all phases of the criminal process including competency to stand trial, the guilt phase, and mitigation.
